Problem
Manual resume screening is slow and inconsistent. Recruiters need a fast way to score candidates against a job description without reading every page.
Approach
Built an AI screener on Next.js that extracts text from PDF/DOCX, evaluates resumes across a 5-dimension rubric plus a recruiter playbook, and supports batch comparison of up to 10 resumes concurrently. Added Redis-backed rate limiting and per-device history so the free demo stays usable under load.
Outcome
A live tool that returns multi-dimensional match scores, downloadable PDF reports, and side-by-side comparisons in seconds — useful for recruiters and candidates polishing applications.
